The School of Applied Sciences and Technology offers many professional development opportunities for students that will enhance their educational experience and provide a discipline-specific focus to career development goals.

  • Cooperative Education (Co-Op) and internships allow students to work directly in their field through the largest co-op program in Kentucky. Visit for more information.  Contact your academic advisor for specific Co-op and Internship opportunities in your discipline.

  • EKU Center for Career & Co-op offers career days and other career development opportunities, such as resume preparation, mock interviews, and shadowing. Visit for more information and up coming events.

  • CBT Student Success: College to Careers Conference (BTS 400) provides a setting in which students have the opportunity to hear professionals share their views about critical skills that new graduates need in order to succeed in the real world. Each year seniors in the College of Business and Technology attend the conference.
